AM DESIGN: Architecture growing out of red earth & Resort Hotel Design

The architectural design of Resort Hotel focuses on respecting, preserving and reflecting the local history, humanities and lifestyle. Maitreya, the future Buddha, the only city with the same name as "Buddha" in the world, is a city with a future. It is the hometown of grapes and the "manor capital" of China. Art is open like flowers and grows like a forest. There is only affinity. There is no tall, colorful cloud south resort hotel design, buildings grown in red soil, the matrix of original art, and a hotbed for fun.

                                              

In Dongfeng Yun town, Yunnan Province, such a resort hotel building is built on the basis of local culture. The whole resort hotel design is based on the local design thinking of going to "Modernity" and going to "industrialization", and tries and practices with the experience and creation of local local culture combined with rigorous, meticulous and high completion engineering operation. The concept of resort hotel architecture has formed today's international brand resort hotel architecture through research, layout and effort.

The architectural design base of the resort hotel is a mountain landform with a relative height difference of about 19 meters. The third part of the project is facing the straight pole according to the forest, close to the reservoir in the East, and separated by a river from the kaleidoscope Art Museum, banduoyun restaurant and agricultural reclamation Museum designed by artist Luo Xu in the south. The hotel project is located in the lake and mountain scenery with eucalyptus forest as the background, surrounded by large lavender and grape plantations, forming a unique natural environment and cultural atmosphere.

                             

There are 9 types of rooms and 232 guest rooms in total, including 115 King rooms, 89 double rooms, 20 family suites and 8 theme suites, which meet the diversified needs of couples, families and business travelers. The naming and creation of all guest rooms pay tribute to Yunnan's local art - pottery making, architecture, painting, printing and dyeing, music spectrum (architecture, painting, printing and spectrum) and specialty treasures - jade and beads, which vividly embodies the hotel's residential aesthetic purpose of "art speaks of all things, inspiration draws life".

                                        

Buddha sitting: Maitreya is a city with the same name as Buddha. The overall planning of the architectural design of the resort hotel is combined with the platform layout of the five plates of the mountain, forming the intention of Buddha sitting in the east from the general drawing and spatial form.

                                               

Original creativity of "clumsy, simple and true": the architectural design of resort hotel is rooted in the local original environment, based on the Red Soil Plateau of Yunnan, and creates with clumsy, simple and true methods. The building is round, honest and simple, like being washed and baptized by time, or being kneaded with a pair of clumsy big hands. It has a strong sense of handcraft. It is the integration of disorder and order, seeking obvious differences from the products of industrialization.

                                         

Quoting the couplet of Jiazhu temple, "pinch the earth's mountains and rivers with both hands, rub them round, sprinkle them into the air, and there is no color; chew the congenital ancestral Qi mouth, swallow it in your stomach, and release light". The facade of the resort hotel adopts local red brick as the unified facing material, and uses the craftsman's Masonry technology to turn complexity into simplicity, return to nature, ecological low-carbon and return to nature. The five courtyards of the whole building are integrated, just like growing out of the red soil on the plateau.

                      

Chaos begins to open and Yin and Yang appear: kaleidoscope is Yang, Maitreya cloud hotel is Yin, all things are negative Yin and embrace Yang. One Yin and one Yang form the unique architectural landscape and artistic temperament of Dongfeng rhyme town. The whole hotel community uses the combination of five rings to metaphor the mother and uterus, forming a quiet and relaxing resort hotel architectural space.

                                                 

The overall state of natural, original and seemingly disordered architectural design of resort hotel provides diverse and interesting spatial experience. The whole project has been seeking the balance between disorder and logic from scheme design to implementation, looking for the relationship between the perfect pattern of basic functions and the scale of experiential space, and controlling the seriousness of the implementation of the project. The whole building takes the reinforced concrete frame as the basic structure, and the outer skin is built and decorated with local red bricks to build a safe and natural original space environment.
