Rain is water falling by gravity. Water is invisible and tangible, soft and strong. Containers can depict the shape of water, and gravity can push the force of water. The direct conduction of water is the depiction of the dynamic gravity, while the container like building is the modeling of the static gravity. A static movement is reduced by Newton to a formula of universal gravitation, so the architectural design of resort B & B hotel can present a variety of proofs of deduction.

The rain house is located in the middle of a mountain far from the city, surrounded by bamboo forests and farmland. The two separate village houses are covered with a large roof. The roof is supported by columns, and rainwater can be guided to the ground in various ways and paths, forming an invisible and tangible confrontation. The design of the resort B & B hotel will raise the roof high, or stand up from the ground or support from the wall. The wavy and continuous roof is a water container, which gathers the rain drops that originally fell evenly into a linear waterway.

The waterway rushes down along the vertical direction to form the most powerful channel. "Dripping water wears away stone" is an ancient image describing water power. In the design of the resort B & B hotel, the waterway is made to penetrate the concrete slab downward to show the power of water.

The shape of the inverted channel is the shape of water, and the channel leads away. The water is scattered directly along the eaves from the half floor roof and falls into the pond. On the second floor of the B & B hotel building design, the path must pass through a pond. The round steps in the pond need to be prepared to cross, just like walking in the field in rainy days to avoid the puddles.

                   

On the top floor of the holiday B & B hotel in the rain house, there is a big mountain pavilion with four transparent sides, which connects the distant mountains with the body in the house. Under the eaves, in the heart, leave a landscape.

The metal downpipe is frankly exposed on the facade of the B & B hotel building to form the metaphor of "river flowing down", which is the first attempt to explore the explicit expression of gravity and rain. "Rain house" is a further discussion on gravity and rain, not just the "exposure" of form. Resort hotel design is practicing a kind of careful intervention in nature: "if you want to take it, gather it first; if you want to tame it, follow it first."
