In the white city of old Belgrade on the Bank of the Sava River, this hotel design project transformed the historical building "old mill" into a four-star hotel. The interior design of the hotel shows the designer's ambition to combine the old and the new perfectly. While retaining the historical structure of the building, it optimizes the space quality of the building by adding new materials, colors and forms. In addition to showing the original quality of the space, it also creates a unique visual effect.
The main entrance, lobby, reception, bar and restaurant of the hotel are located in the existing building complex. The new high-rise building accommodates hotel rooms, suites, spa rooms, gyms, and service areas. The entrance square of the hotel was renovated, the ground was slightly raised and paved with ancient granite slabs, and the wrought iron columns recycled from the "old mill" were also reused. The new Waterscape fountain on the square can offset the traffic noise to a certain extent.

The lobby of the hotel is spacious and transparent, and the materials recycled, cleaned and repaired from the historical buildings create a distinctive and real industrial style for the lobby. The background wall behind the reception desk is made of old machines recycled from the old mill. A large number of natural materials, such as oak and copper, are used in the renovation design project of the hotel. These materials reflect the history of the site and are translated into new and modern architectural language. The necessary cut on the concrete structure maintains its original and rough state, which further enhances the overall industrial atmosphere indoors. Different materials and functions are integrated into a huge white structure, which defines the tone of the whole space. As a foil, this white structure highlights the sense of age and its own quality of different materials.
