The construction of home stay hotel is located on the Shuanglang ancient town of Dali. The original building is a small building of Bai nationality with national characteristics. How to retain the national elements while giving the building a new design style and living experience is the focus that designers need to consider in this design.

The cornices and corners of Bai architecture are preserved, and the facade of the whole home stay hotel is transformed. The outer wall of the whole building is changed from inward brick and tile sealing to outward glass permeability. While retaining the architectural form and spatial structure, people's vision can run through the whole space to achieve the triple dialogue and interaction from outdoor to indoor and then outdoor.

Indoors, the famous uses the vault to cover the space partition. Without setting too many space blocks, the invisible construction of space order has been completed. Based on the Bai nationality's national tradition of advocating white, it is famous to choose white as the main color of this design. Abandoning the original complicated designs, the designer focuses on white and matches with gray and wood to lay a retro tone, improve the lightness of the originally gray hotel indoor space and create a quiet artistic temperament.

The decoration of white curtains adds some dynamic beauty to the whole B & B. It is the symbol of climate and the transitional and handler of the relationship between nature and indoor space. In the changes of the four seasons, it interacts with the wind and reflects with the water. Stairs are the time link of buildings, winding and stretching like vines, outlining the growth rings of years, full of flow movement and warm texture.

                                             

Different from the main white color outside, a touch of vermilion wrapped in the stairs injects a fresh brightness into the space and brings a sense of youth and vitality. However, due to the addition of a little birch precipitation, there is a little more restrained introversion, which presses down the brightness of the whole color and achieves the balance of spatial color system.

                                  

In the interweaving of light and shadow, the stairs rotate up continuously, like the medium of space, connecting all floors with completely different functions as a whole. Just like a tree growing from the guest house, it accompanies the flow of the crowd, silent but full of vitality, creating a unique field different from any space. With the stairs, people enter their own space. Different from Dali's strong ethnic customs, the famous added more modern elements to the design, making the whole interior space brighter and more casual.

                                          

In order to ensure the comfort of residents, the whole B & B has only four rooms, which can get rid of the sense of crowding and restraint and immerse people into their own space. The main color of white pigment continues to the guest room. The soft texture and touch of cloth and the pure simple texture of furnishings add the feeling of home to the residents.

                                              

The circular arch facing the sea is a picture frame customized for the natural scenery, which can perceptibly display the four seasons with the change of time and climate. No matter which season you visit, you will gain different aesthetic experience. As it is written in "the story of drunken Weng Pavilion", "the scenery of the four seasons is different, and the music is endless".

                                                           

Room is the most leisure place for people. In use, people's use experience should be taken as the measurement standard. Fame cleverly placed a romantic water ripple on the ceiling to echo with the Erhai Lake outside the window. Between the light and shadow floating and flowing, it improves the spatial texture and increases the interest of residents.

Space is a container for interaction, providing places, demands, emotions and reveries for people's exchanges. Bars and restaurants near the sea are the best expression vectors. With the spatial order, the linear lights and projection lights are mapped with mottled light and shadow in the points.

                                          

The wooden body is the skeleton of the building, which supports the whole building and expands the field of vision and light and dark space. A whole wall is built with stones, which matches the original style and wild luxury taste.

                                            

The mirror on the top of the head is probably the most modern material. It reflects a wider visual effect through light and shadow. The interweaving of blurred lights and soft moonlight creates a hazy and romantic leisurely atmosphere. The refraction of the glass mirror and the sparkling sea creates a virtual texture of overlapping time and space.
