Life can not be a walk away journey. The busy life always makes us yearn for the distance. Good B & B hotel design makes people here really find a place to aspire to. It is precisely for this reason that B & B hotel design is so popular in hotel architectural design.

Dujing village is a typical water town in the south of the Yangtze River. People live by the water, farming and fishing for generations. With the construction of the nearby Huakai marine ecological park, the life here is gradually changing. The increase of tourists calls for new business forms. The traditional farmhouse can no longer meet the needs of vacationers from urban areas. To this end, we will create a pilot and model for the design of a new B & B hotel, drive the industrial upgrading of surrounding farmers, and become the origin of Huahai B & B.

How to link thousands of acres of flowers to Jiangnan Water Town is the starting point of this B & B hotel design. On the whole, we have retained the pattern of one floor in the north and three floors in the south of the original folk houses, as well as the shape of the South courtyard and the north courtyard. According to the local policy, the plane function of the building will be readjusted without breaking through the original roof contour. The flower sea on the north side, as the main view, is mainly transferred to the guest room area on the second and third floors. The flower sea landscape is introduced into the room by means of large windows.

As the most active visual element in the design of the whole B & B hotel, the external stairs connect various viewing spaces. Walking on the stairs leading to the third floor, you can see between the sea of flowers and the water town. What style and character should this B & B show? The architectural design of B & B hotel should not be a unique existence in the overall environment, but reflected in the surrounding environment. Since the design of this B & B hotel itself is a leader in the transformation of B & B in Dujing village, we do not want to have a conflicting impact on the basic style of the current Jiangnan Water Town. Therefore, it is the primary principle to inherit the keynote of pink walls and black tiles and maintain the scale of water village dwellings. On this basis, we extracted the curve shape of the petals, made a local breakthrough in the form of stairwell canopy, shared rest space and architectural window opening, and let the heterogeneous shape be interspersed in the overall style, forming visual impact and memory points.

Secondly, on the roof facing the sea of flowers, the decorative color metal tile design is adopted, as if several petals fall on the roof, so as to enrich the color level of the courtyard.

The encounter between Jiangnan Water Town and the sea of flowers in the four seasons has shaped the unique character of this B & B hotel. I hope this simple attempt will bring more beauty to Dujing village.

No matter how far away the design of such a B & B hotel is, it is also yearning for it. Hidden in the mountain city, the green mountains are quiet and the winding paths lead to seclusion.
