Resort Hotel Bali 2016Year 1400㎡
The Santai is a family holiday villa project. The space function inside the holiday villa consists of a series of villas, each with two to three bedrooms. Due to site constraints, the villa did not have an external view. Therefore, its design concept mainly focuses on the construction of internal space and internal landscape. According to the project name, Santai has the meaning of leisure and relaxation, so its design follows the way that allows guests to enjoy the relaxation environment and all supporting facilities in the villa. Ancillary facilities for tourists' families include private swimming pools, living rooms, food storage rooms and restaurants in public areas, which can make guests feel more relaxed. The villa combines the characteristics of Balinese traditional and modern spaces. The materials used in the construction are all natural building materials, such as Kolobukan stone, local Eulin wood and tile roofs. The reception area, lobby, restaurant and parking lot are all set under one house, and the continuous roof extends from the top of the hall on the second floor and reaches only 80 cm from the ground at the end. Therefore, the form of the building roof is unified as a whole, easy to integrate into the surrounding environment, and harmoniously unified with it. As far as space design is concerned, the floor of the restaurant is slightly sunk, which can make the space larger. In addition, the lobby is composed of a series of pillars inscribed in Sanskrit, and each pillar is written with Sanskrit words such as "relax", "calm" and "relief" in Sanskrit. No air-conditioning is installed in the lobby and public areas, and natural ventilation is used for ventilation. The arrangement of the wooden partition wall can protect the sun from the sun, while also highlighting the natural attributes and traditional styles. In addition, the pavilion has a man-made river and a pavilion in Bali. The pavilion form follows the existing shape and then strengthens the impression of Balinese countryside. The cottage was developed as one of the tourism projects and can contribute to supporting Bali’s tourism service industry.
